What is a listening bar?
A listening bar is a venue where the music selection and listening quality (high-end hi-fi system, vinyl, curated picks) are at the heart of the experience. Born in 1950s Japanese jazz kissa, the format spread to Tokyo, London, New York and more recently Paris. Sound and Coffee is one of the few Paris listening bars combining specialty coffee by day and cocktails by night.

How many records are in the collection?
Around 15,000 vinyl records, gathered over twenty years of travel by founder Cyril K. All genres: jazz, soul, funk, disco, electronica, world.
